Austria-Hungary

You want revenge for the murder of the Archduke. You also want to deal with Serbia--this little country represents all the things about nationalism and minorities that gives your empire trouble. You would like to crush them and take them over.

Germany

You are appalled at the murder of the Archduke. You think that this kind of thing is dangerous for all the kings in Europe, and you want it stopped. You have a good relationship with Austria-Hungary--the Austrians speak German, and you are both part of the Triple Alliance.

Russia

You disapprove of the murder of the Archduke, but it doesn’t really bother you that much. You have a deal with Serbia to help protect them if they need it, and you support the Pan-slavism movement because you think it will mean more power for you.

France

You disapprove of the murder of the Archduke, but it doesn’t really bother you that much. You want Alsace and Lorraine back from Germany, but you are not prepared to start a war just for that. You and Russia are both part of the Triple Entente, so if Russia is attacked, you have an obligation to fight.

England

You disapprove of the murder of the Archduke, but it really doesn’t bother you that much. You feel threatened by the German military buildup, and you want very badly to protect your empire. You, France, and Russia are all part of the Triple Entente, so if either of them is attacked, you have an obligation to fight. You also have a treaty with Belgium saying that if somebody attacks them, even though they are neutral, you will defend them.
